Hole #7 at Cedar Crest

This is not a difficult hole off of the tee; just avoid going long or right. Those are the two trouble spots, since there is about a 6' to 7' drop down the hill. Pitching back up from the bottom and trying to get one close on this green is extremely difficult, especially if you short-side yourself. If you make a mistake, make it short or to the left. It will leave you with a level chip shot.

This green isn't very large, but for what it lacks in size, it makes up for in difficulty. You will not have a level putt on this green. The back and front both are crowned and there is a big depression in the middle of the green. Make sure you get your yardage correct off of the tee, or you could leave yourself with a nightmarish lag.

If you see a white flag, be thankful. That means that the pin is down in the depression, and most tee shots that get onto the green will collect in this area.
