Hole #11 at Cedar CrestUnless you are very confident with your driver, pull a fairway wood, hybrid, or short iron out of the bag for this tee shot. A driver will put you to within sand wedge range, but if you don't find the fairway, you'll be staring bogey square in the face. From tee to green, this is a tight one. Even if you hit an iron off of the tee, you should have nothing more than a mid iron into the green on your approach shot. The trouble on your approach is the trees. Don't be a hero; find the middle of the green. The green is nothing unmanageable. It slopes from back to front gradually, but it can throw some benders at you with the right pin placement. |
