Cedar Crest is a Course for Everyone

This is definitely a place you will want to play again! We work hard to keep our course in pristine condition and you will appreciate that as you make your way through this beautiful 18-hole layout.

Having several tee positions on virtually every hole, this course is set up to accommodate all levels of golfers. Beginners will appreciate this course because most of the trouble (i.e. bunkers, water, etc...) is strategically placed to challenge experienced golfers that choose to play from the blue tees. Trees, however, are something that everyone will have to contend with.

The front nine and back nine certainly have their differences; the most notable of which is the width of the fairways. The tee shots on the back nine are to more narrow fairways, so save your best tee shots for later in the round. The par 4's are, in general, a bit longer on the back nine than they are on the front. However, the par 3's are a bit more challenging on the front nine. Even though both the back nine and front nine have their strengths, the opinion of most people that have played our course is that the back is a bit tougher than the front.

There is not an overabundance of water, nor are there many bunkers. However, the course is protected by strategically placed trees and with smartly contoured greens.

Even if you place your tee shot in the fairway, you may have to contend with trees that will force you to shape your shot, hit a shot over a tree, or punch it under some tree limbs.

The greens are simply beautiful, but make no mistake about it; they have teeth! These beauties are undulating and slick. Three putts are not a rare occurrence if you leave yourself in the wrong area of a green.

Play it, enjoy it, and then play it again!
